I’m Leanne, a portrait and lifestyle photographer from Vancouver, British Columbia. I started my photography journey 17 years ago taking classes at Focal Point on Vancouver’s West Side. After Focal Point I worked as a commercial photographer photographing beautiful products and spaces for interior designers,restaurants,home and garden businesses and product launches. Once the photography world turned digital I returned to school and studied through the Professional Photography Program at Langara College. After the birth of my daughter in 2005 I took a six month break and left commercial photography to start my own photography business focusing on children’s and family portraits. I feel so fortunate to have been able to turn my passion into a business. I absolutely love what I do! My goal is to create beautiful heirlooms for your family to cherish for a lifetime.
When I’m not working you can usually find me outdoors, I love the beach and fresh air. I’ve been bitten by wanderlust and can’t wait to explore more of the world. On weekends I’m cheering on the kiddo at soccer or volunteering at the judo dojo-typical parenting gigs! When we have some free time we love to to take day trips and search out interesting new cafes and restaurants -we LOVE Italian food:) I enjoy and am inspired by all forms of creative expression and delight in checking out new gallery shows,dance performances and theater productions.
