One of the things I love about the work I do is meeting so many families. I love hearing about what you all enjoy doing together as a family, your trials and triumphs and what your dreams are for yourselves and your children. Many of the families I photograph come to see me annually to have a portrait session, some with the whole gang, sometimes just the kiddos. This is where things get really interesting, I get to see how much the kids have changed, I LOVE that part. Seeing who’s turning into a spitting image of Mom and who has a sense of humour just like Dad, sometimes I hear one of the kids is exactly like an Aunt, Uncle or Grandparent. It amazes me how great the changes are in just one year!
These are a few previews from a recent session with an awesome family, I have photographed these kids since they were babes. Now they are full of personality telling me stories of dinosaurs, how to grow flowers ( I was told at length the proper way to do this) and that it is absolutely their turn with “chicken” (chicken is my trusty assistant whom I must introduce at some point :)).
